Three years ago, Northern Stage had aspirations to revolutionise their relationship with audiences. As one of the larger regional producing theatres in the UK they knew that transforming their business model to reduce their reliance on funding and increasing earned income was essential.
Kate Denby, Executive Director, Northern Stage, will demonstrate how the theatre has risen to the challenge. Alongside Stephen Skrypec, Vice President of UK & Europe, TRG Arts, they will share the story of how the theatre worked with TRG to become more data-driven and more loyalty-focussed in order to radically increase earned income from tickets, membership and donations. They will describe strategies of how Northern Stage used data to build patron relationships to transform their business model, and give tips for on how any arts organisation can get started in using data to help grow their patron loyalty and create more sustainable revenue.
