Jessica Thompson is Head of Membership at The Royal Opera House in London. The Royal Opera House is home to The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. Jessica joined the Royal Opera House during the Covid lockdown when the loyalty of its Friends and other donors was more important than at any point in its history.
Jessica has extensive membership experience, starting her fundraising career at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust where she spent eight years before moving into Alumni Relations at York St John university. In her spare time she writes romance novels for Harlequin Mills & Boon and recently moved to a small town in the Chilterns within commuting distance of London after seventeen years in the historic city of York.
